Where is the oil sending unit on a 85 Chevy 350?

The oil pressure sending unit on a 1985 Chevy 350 small-block engine is located on the passenger side of the engine block, near the front of the oil filter. It's a relatively small unit with one or two wires connected to it. It's usually threaded directly into the engine block.
