How to Tighten the Chain on a Suzuki JR80

1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface.

2. Put the motorcycle in neutral gear.

3. Find the chain adjuster bolts. There are two chain adjuster bolts located near the rear wheel of the motorcycle.

4. Loosen the chain adjuster bolts. Use a 12mm wrench to loosen the chain adjuster bolts.

5. Adjust the chain tension. Turn the chain adjuster bolts clockwise to tighten the chain. The chain should have approximately 1/2 inch of slack.

6. Tighten the chain adjuster bolts. Use a 12mm wrench to tighten the chain adjuster bolts.

7. Test the chain tension. Sit on the motorcycle and bounce the rear suspension. The chain should not skip or make any noise.

Tips:

* Make sure that the chain is properly lubricated before you adjust the chain tension.

* If you are having trouble adjusting the chain tension, you can take the motorcycle to a qualified mechanic.
