Where is the oil pressure sending unit on Ford Ranger 2003 XLT 3.0L?

The oil pressure sending unit on a 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0L XLT is located on the driver's side (left side) of the engine block, near the oil filter. It's usually a small, cylindrical sensor with one or two wires connected to it. You'll likely need to get underneath the vehicle to see it clearly. Be sure the engine is cool before attempting to access it.
