Will vaporized gasoline run a car?

No, vaporized gasoline alone will not reliably run a car engine. While gasoline needs to be vaporized to burn efficiently, a modern car engine requires a precise mixture of air and fuel vapor, delivered at the right pressure and timing. Simply vaporizing the gasoline doesn't provide the necessary air/fuel mixture, controlled injection, and spark ignition needed for combustion. You'd need a carburetor or fuel injection system to properly mix the vaporized fuel with air and deliver it to the cylinders.
