Where is the number 8 cylinder on a ford 4.6 liter engine?

On a Ford 4.6L Modular engine (the common type), the cylinders are numbered sequentially from the passenger side (right side) of the engine, front to back. Therefore, cylinder #8 is at the rear of the engine, on the driver's side (left side).
