Where is the transmission dipstick on a northsatr engine?

There is no transmission dipstick on a Northstar engine (or any modern GM automatic transmission that uses the Northstar engine). Northstar engines used electronically controlled automatic transmissions that do not have a dipstick for checking transmission fluid level. The fluid level is checked and maintained by the transmission control system.
