1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Remove the oil pan retaining bolts and lower the oil pan.
4. Remove the oil pump retaining bolt and remove the oil pump.
5. Install a new oil pump gasket and a new oil pump.
6. Install the oil pan retaining bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
7. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
8. Add new engine oil to the engine.
9. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks.
10. Test drive the vehicle to ensure it is running properly.
