1. Locate the power steering reservoir.
In the 1998 Grand Prix, the power steering reservoir is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the firewall. It is a black plastic tank with a yellow cap.
2. Check the power steering fluid level.
The power steering fluid level should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the reservoir.
3. Add power steering fluid if necessary.
If the power steering fluid level is low, you can add more fluid to the reservoir. Use only power steering fluid that is recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Replace the reservoir cap.
After you have added power steering fluid, make sure to replace the reservoir cap securely.
