How do you open engine compartment 911T 1971?

1. Pull the release cable. The engine compartment release cable is a red lever located just to the right of the steering wheel. Pull the cable all the way up to release the hood.

2. Lift the hood. Once the release cable is pulled, simply lift the rear lip of the hood. The hood will be held open by its spring-loaded strut.

3. Prop the hood open. Locate the metal bar that is attached to the underside of the hood. Lift it up and rest it against the windshield post.
