1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent you from accidentally starting the car while you're working on it.
2. Remove the steering column cover. There are two screws on the bottom of the cover, and one on each side.
3. Locate the ignition switch. It's located on the right side of the steering column, behind the steering wheel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition switch. There are two connectors, one on the top and one on the bottom.
5. Remove the two bolts that hold the ignition switch in place. They're located on either side of the switch.
6. Pull the ignition switch out of the steering column.
7. Install the new ignition switch. Insert it into the steering column and secure it with the two bolts.
8. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the ignition switch.
9. Replace the steering column cover.
10. Reconnect the battery.
11. Test the ignition switch. Turn the key to the "On" position and make sure that the lights come on and the engine starts.
Here are some additional tips for replacing the ignition switch in a 1991 Honda CRX:
* Be careful not to drop the screws or bolts. They're small and easy to lose.
* If you're having trouble removing the ignition switch, you may need to use a penetrating oil to loosen it up.
* If the new ignition switch doesn't work properly, you may need to replace the ignition lock cylinder.
