1. Prepare your bike:
-Park your motorcycle on a level surface, and make sure it's in neutral.
-Turn off the engine and remove the key.
-If your bike has a center stand, engage it.
-Put on your safety gear, including a helmet, gloves, eye protection, and sturdy footwear.
2. Place the paddock stand under the bike:
Position the front paddock stand underneath the bike, ensuring that the stand's cups are properly seated under the motorcycle's front forks.
-Make sure the stand is stable and won't tip over.
3. Raise the bike:
Use the foot pedal or hand crank to raise the front of the bike until it's off the ground.
-Be careful not to raise the bike too high, as this could damage the bike's suspension.
4. Secure the bike:
Once the bike is raised to the desired height, lock the paddock stand in place.
-Check that the stand is secure and won't collapse before letting go of the motorcycle.
5. Perform maintenance or repairs:
With the bike securely supported by the paddock stand, you can now perform maintenance or repair tasks on the bike without having to worry about it falling over.
6. Lower the bike:
When you're finished working on the bike, release the paddock stand's lock and slowly lower the bike back to the ground.
-Be careful not to drop the bike.
7. Store the paddock stand:
-After use, store the paddock stand in a safe place, out of the way.
