Where Oil filter on a 07 Mitsubishi outlander?

The oil filter on a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander is located on the front side of the engine block, just below the intake manifold. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with a black cap. To access the oil filter, you will need to remove the skid plate (if equipped) and then use an oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the filter. Be sure to replace the oil filter gasket with a new one before reinstalling the filter.
