- There may be a plastic cover or cap over the back of the headlight assembly.
Remove this cover to expose the bulb.
3. Disconnect the Electrical Connector:
- Usually, the bulb holder has an electrical connector attached to it.
- Press the release tab and carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb holder.
4. Remove the Old Bulb:
- Gently twist the bulb counterclockwise to loosen and remove it from the holder.
- Be cautious as some bulbs can be hot after use.
5. Install the New Bulb:
- Take the new bulb and align it with the socket.
- Gently twist it clockwise until it's secure, but do not overtighten.
6. Reconnect Electrical Connector:
- Reconnect the electrical connector that you removed earlier.
- Make sure it snaps securely into place.
7. Replace the Cover:
- Replace the plastic cover or cap that you removed earlier.
- Ensure that it's properly closed or fastened.
8. Test the Headlight:
- Turn on your headlights to check if the new bulb is working correctly.
- If it's functional, you can close the hood of your vehicle.
9. Repeat for the Other Side (if necessary):
- If you're replacing bulbs on both sides of the vehicle, repeat the process for the other headlight assembly.
Note:
- If the bulb still doesn't work after replacing it, you might need to check if there are any issues with the electrical system, such as faulty fuses, wiring problems, or a faulty switch.
- It's always recommended to consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions and recommendations for your particular model.
