How do you change oil ezgo rxv?

To change the oil in an EZGO RXV golf cart, follow these steps:

1. Gather the necessary materials. You will need:

* New oil filter (EZGO part number 72061-G01)

* New O-ring for oil filter (EZGO part number 71911-G01)

* New oil drain plug gasket (EZGO part number 71839-G01)

* SAE 30 motor oil (EZGO recommends Mobil 1 15W-50 synthetic motor oil)

* Oil drain pan

* Funnel

* Wrench

* Rags

2. Prepare the golf cart. Park the golf cart on a level surface. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down. Engage the parking brake.

3. Locate the oil drain plug. The oil drain plug is located on the bottom of the engine, near the front. It is a 17mm bolt.

4. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.

5. Loosen the oil drain plug. Use the wrench to loosen the oil drain plug. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil drain pan.

6. Allow the oil to drain. Allow the oil to drain completely into the oil drain pan.

7. Replace the oil drain plug. Once the oil has drained completely, replace the oil drain plug. Tighten the plug until it is snug.

8. Remove the old oil filter. The oil filter is located on the top of the engine, near the front. It is a black canister with a black cap. Use the wrench to loosen the oil filter cap. Be careful not to spill any oil.

9. Remove the old oil filter element. Remove the old oil filter element from the oil filter housing.

10. Replace the oil filter O-ring. The O-ring is located on the base of the oil filter element. Remove the old O-ring and replace it with a new O-ring.

11. Install the new oil filter element. Insert the new oil filter element into the oil filter housing.

12. Replace the oil filter cap. Replace the oil filter cap and tighten it until it is snug.

13. Add new oil. Use the funnel to add new oil to the engine. Add approximately 1.5 quarts of oil.

14. Check the oil level. Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.

15. Start the engine. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.

16. Check for leaks. Look under the golf cart for any leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the oil drain plug or oil filter cap until the leak stops.

That's it! You have now successfully changed the oil in your EZGO RXV golf cart.
