Where is the fuel pump located 1996 f-150 5.0?

1996 Ford F-150 with 5.0L engine:

1. Open the fuel door.

2. Locate the fuel filler neck.

3. Remove the fuel filler cap.

4. Lift up filler tube rubber boot and remove.

5. Disconnect electrical connector from fuel sending unit lock ring retainer with a screwdriver to depress tangs.

6. Turn fuel sending unit lock ring counterclockwise, and then lift the lock ring and sending unit assembly from the fuel tank.

7. Pull fuel pump assembly straight out of fuel sending unit.
