Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It should be a translucent plastic container with a black cap, located in the engine compartment near the firewall.
Clean the area around the reservoir cap to prevent any dirt or debris from entering the fluid.
Remove the cap and set it aside.
Check the brake fluid level. The level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the side of the reservoir.
If the level is low, add enough brake fluid to bring it up to the "MAX" mark. Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
Replace the cap and tighten it securely.
Check the brake fluid level regularly, and add more if necessary to keep it between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
