- It is located inside the fuel tank, underneath the bed of the van.
Fuel Pump Service Process
- Park your van on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
- Open the fuel filler cap to relieve any pressure in the fuel tank.
- Disconnect battery to prevent any sparks while working on the fuel system.
- Locate the fuel tank access cover inside the van. It is usually located under a small cover in the floor or in the trunk area.
- Remove the access cover to expose the fuel tank.
- Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the fuel pump assembly.
- Remove the fuel pump assembly by unscrewing the mounting bolts.
- Take out the fuel pump out of the tank.
