1. Turn the key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the gas pedal down for 10 seconds.
3. While still holding the gas pedal down, turn the key to the "OFF" position.
4. Release the gas pedal.
5. Turn the key back to the "ON" position (do not start the engine).
6. The service engine light should be flashing.
7. Press and hold the gas pedal down again for 10 seconds.
8. The service engine light should turn off.
If the service engine light does not turn off, you will need to have your vehicle diagnosed by a qualified technician.
