- Phillips screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- 10mm wrench
- 12mm wrench
Procedure:
1. Locate the map sensor. It is located on the passenger side of the engine, just below the throttle body.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the map sensor.
3. Remove the two screws that hold the map sensor in place using the Phillips screwdriver.
4. Pull out the old map sensor. Remove or scrape the old gasket material off the intake manifold.
5. Install the new sensor by inserting into opening and lining up the holes.
6. Replace the two screws.
7. Reinstall the electrical connector to the map sensor.
8. Connect the other end of the hose assembly to the manifold fitting and tighten the clamp.
