The hydraulic filter is located on the left side of the tractor, just below the transmission oil filter. It is a cylindrical-shaped filter with a black cap.
Instructions
To replace the hydraulic filter, follow these steps:
1. Park the tractor on a level surface and set the parking brake.
2. Locate the hydraulic filter.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the hydraulic filter.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the hydraulic filter cap.
5. Remove the hydraulic filter and gasket from the filter housing.
6. Inspect the hydraulic filter for damage or wear.
7. If the hydraulic filter is damaged or worn, replace it with a new filter.
8. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the new filter gasket.
9. Install the new hydraulic filter into the filter housing.
10. Hand-tighten the hydraulic filter cap until it is snug.
11. Use a wrench to tighten the hydraulic filter cap until it is snug.
12. Start the tractor and let it run for a few minutes.
13. Check the oil level in the hydraulic system and add oil if necessary.
