Here are the steps involved in adjusting the valve clearances:
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Locate the valve cover. It is located on the top of the engine and is held in place by four 10mm bolts.
3. Remove the valve cover bolts and lift off the valve cover.
4. Locate the valve clearances. They are located between the camshaft and the valves.
5. Using the feeler gauge, measure the valve clearance. The clearance should be between 0.20 and 0.25 mm.
6. If the valve clearance is too large, you will need to adjust it. To do this, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry up on the tappet until the clearance is correct.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each valve.
8. Once all of the valve clearances are adjusted, replace the valve cover and engine cover.
