1. Park the backhoe on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hydraulic oil fill plug, which is located on the top of the hydraulic oil tank.
4. Place a drain pan under the hydraulic oil drain plug, which is located on the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank.
5. Open the hydraulic oil drain plug and allow the old hydraulic oil to drain into the drain pan.
6. Close the hydraulic oil drain plug once all of the old hydraulic oil has drained out.
7. Add new hydraulic oil to the hydraulic oil tank through the hydraulic oil fill plug.
8. Check the hydraulic oil level and add more hydraulic oil if necessary.
9. Close the hydraulic oil fill plug.
10. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.
11. Check for any leaks.
