Instructions:
1. Park the Acura Vigor on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Open the hood of the Acura Vigor.
4. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
5. Raise the Acura Vigor using a jack and jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is securely supported before crawling underneath.
6. Locate the starter motor on the driver's side of the engine. It is attached to the transmission.
7. Remove the two 12mm bolts that secure the starter motor to the transmission.
8. Remove the 14mm nut that secures the starter motor to the battery cable.
9. Remove the 10mm bolt that secures the starter solenoid wire to the starter motor.
10. Disconnect the starter solenoid wire from the starter motor.
11. Lower the Acura Vigor and carefully remove the starter motor.
Note: The starter motor is heavy, so be careful when removing and installing it.
To install the starter motor, follow the above instructions in reverse order. Make sure to securely tighten all of the bolts and nuts.
