How do you know when hydraulic fluid is full on 4000 ford tractor?

How to Check the Hydraulic Fluid Level in a Ford 4000 Tractor

1. Park the tractor on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Open the hood.

4. Locate the hydraulic fluid reservoir. It is usually located on the right side of the engine, near the front.

5. Unscrew the dipstick from the reservoir.

6. Wipe the dipstick clean with a rag.

7. Reinsert the dipstick into the reservoir and screw it in tightly.

8. Pull the dipstick out and check the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.

If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid to bring it up to the "Full" mark. Use only the type of hydraulic fluid specified in the tractor's owner's manual.

Overfilling the hydraulic fluid reservoir can cause damage to the tractor.
