1. Park the forklift on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Chock the wheels to prevent the forklift from rolling.
3. Loosen the lug nuts on the brake drum, but do not remove them completely.
4. Use a pry bar to pry the brake drum off of the axle.
5. Be careful not to damage the brake drum or the axle.
6. Once the brake drum is removed, you can remove the lug nuts and take it off the forklift.
7. To reinstall the brake drum, simply reverse the steps above.
8. Be sure to tighten the lug nuts securely before operating the forklift.
