1. Open the hood of your vehicle by pulling the hood release lever inside the car and then lifting the hood.
2. Find the fuel injector pump. It is usually a cylindrical object with a black cap on it. It is located on the top of the engine, near the back.
3. Follow the fuel lines from the fuel injector pump. One of them will lead to a small solenoid valve. This is the fuel cut off switch.
4. The solenoid valve is usually mounted on a bracket on the side of the engine. It will have a wire connector on one end and a hose connector on the other.
5. To turn off the fuel supply, simply disconnect the wire connector from the solenoid valve. This will stop the fuel from flowing into the engine.
6. To reconnect the solenoid valve, simply plug the wire connector back in.
