Part 1: Locate and Disconnect the Ignition Coil
1. Locate the ignition coil. It is usually located on the top of the engine, at the back on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
2. Remove the bolt holding the ignition coil in place.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coil.
Part 2: Remove Old Ignition Module
4. Remove the retaining bolts that hold the module to the engine.
5. Remove the old module.
Part 3: Install New Ignition Module
6. Set the new module in place.
7. Secure the new module with the bolts.
8. Reconnect the electrical connectors.
Part 4: Install Ignition Coil
9. Reinstall the ignition coil.
10. Connect the electrical connectors to the ignition coil.
11. Replace the bolt that holds the ignition coil in place.
Part 5: Testing
12. Ensure the ignition module is securely in place and all the cables and wires are connected.
13. Turn the ignition key to the ‘On’ position and inspect the ignition module to check if it is powered on.
14. Test run the vehicle to verify if it is functioning smoothly and the issue has been resolved.
