1. Locate the bonnet release lever. It is located on the driver's side footwell, near the door sill.
2. Pull the bonnet release lever. This will release the bonnet latch.
3. Lift the bonnet. It will be hinged at the front of the vehicle.
4. Prop the bonnet open. Use the bonnet prop rod to hold the bonnet open while you work.
Here are some additional tips for opening the bonnet of a Ford Connect:
* If the bonnet is frozen shut, you can use a de-icer to loosen the ice around the latch.
* If the bonnet release lever is broken, you can use a screwdriver or other tool to manually release the latch.
* Be careful not to drop the bonnet on yourself when you open it.
