How do you remove the couplings from a fuel tank on Fiat Seiquento?

To remove the couplings from a fuel tank on a Fiat Seiquento, you will need the following tools:

* A flat-head screwdriver

* A Phillips-head screwdriver

* A pair of pliers

* A bucket or container to catch any spilled fuel

Step 1: Remove the fuel tank cover

The fuel tank cover is located on the floor of the trunk. To remove it, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic clips that hold it in place.

Step 2: Disconnect the fuel lines

There are two fuel lines connected to the fuel tank. To disconnect them, use a pair of pliers to squeeze the release tabs on the couplings and pull the lines off.

Step 3: Remove the fuel tank sending unit

The fuel tank sending unit is located on the top of the fuel tank. To remove it, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold it in place. Then, carefully lift the sending unit out of the tank.

Step 4: Remove the fuel tank

The fuel tank is held in place by two bolts at the front and two bolts at the rear. Use a wrench to remove these bolts, and then carefully lift the tank out of the vehicle.

Step 5: Drain the fuel tank

If there is any fuel left in the tank, you will need to drain it before you can remove the couplings. To do this, place a bucket or container under the fuel tank drain plug and open the plug. Allow the fuel to drain completely.

Step 6: Remove the couplings

The couplings are located at the end of the fuel lines. To remove them, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic clips that hold them in place. Then, pull the couplings off of the fuel lines.

Step 7: Reinstall the fuel tank

Once the couplings are removed, you can reinstall the fuel tank. To do this, simply reverse the steps that you followed to remove it.

Step 8: Reconnect the fuel lines

Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel tank by pushing them onto the couplings until they click into place.

Step 9: Replace the fuel tank sending unit

Replace the fuel tank sending unit by carefully lowering it into the tank and securing it with the screws that you removed earlier.

Step 10: Replace the fuel tank cover

Replace the fuel tank cover by snapping it into place over the plastic clips.
