Note: For safety, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before proceeding.
1. Open the hood.
2. Locate the fuel tank. The fuel tank is located in the front of the tractor, under the hood.
3. Remove the fuel lines. There are two fuel lines that connect the fuel tank to the carburetor. To remove the fuel lines, loosen the clamps that hold them in place and then pull the lines off of the fuel tank.
4. Remove the mounting bolts. There are four mounting bolts that hold the fuel tank in place. To remove the mounting bolts, use a wrench to loosen the nuts that hold them in place and then remove the bolts.
5. Lift the fuel tank off of the tractor. Once the mounting bolts have been removed, you can lift the fuel tank off of the tractor.
To reinstall the fuel tank, simply follow these steps in reverse order.
