How to Attach Wheels a Chicken Tractor?

Tools and Materials:

- 2 wheels (16-inch diameter or larger)

- 2 wooden dowels (1.25 inches in diameter and 18 inches long)

- 4 washers (1.25 inches in diameter)

- 4 bolts (1/4 inch x 4 inches)

- Nuts and bolts (1/2 inch x 1 inch)

- Drill with a 1/2-inch bit

- Wrench

Steps:

1. Preparation:

- Position your chicken tractor in a stable location.

2. Drill Dowel Holes:

- Mark two points on the bottom of the chicken tractor, 18 inches apart.

- Drill two 1/2-inch holes through these points.

3. Attach Washers:

- Place a washer on each end of a wooden dowel.

4. Slide Through Holes:

- Slide the dowel through the holes in the chicken tractor so that the washers rest against the wood.

5. Attach Second Washer:

- On the inside of the chicken tractor, place a washer over each end of the dowel and secure with a bolt and nut.

6. Attach Wheels:

- Position the wheels on the ends of the dowels, with the bolts inserted through the center holes.

- Secure the wheels with washers and nuts.

7. Test Wheels:

- Gently rotate the wheels to ensure they move smoothly.

- If necessary, adjust the position of the wheels or dowels to ensure proper alignment.
