What type of antifreeze to use in jeep commander?

The recommended antifreeze for a 2008 Jeep Commander is a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water.

Here are the steps on how to change the antifreeze in a Jeep Commander:

* Park the Jeep Commander on a level surface and turn off the engine.

* Allow the engine to cool down completely.

* Open the hood of the Jeep Commander.

* Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a translucent plastic tank located at the front of the engine bay.

* Remove the radiator cap. Be careful, as the coolant may be hot and under pressure.

* Drain the coolant from the radiator. To do this, open the drain plug located at the bottom of the radiator.

* Once all of the coolant has drained from the radiator, close the drain plug.

* Fill the radiator with a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water.

* Replace the radiator cap.

* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

* Check the coolant level in the reservoir. If necessary, add more coolant to the reservoir.
