Why do tanks have wheels?
Tanks do not have wheels, they have tracks. Tracks are a type of continuous metal belt that wraps around the wheels of a vehicle, providing more traction and stability than wheels alone. This increased traction allows tanks to move over rough terrain, such as mud, sand, and rocks, without getting stuck. Additionally, tracks distribute the weight of the tank more evenly, reducing the amount of pressure applied to the ground and preventing the tank from sinking.
