How do you change oil on suzuki intruder 1500 your lc?

Step 1: Gather the necessary materials.

You will need the following:

- New oil filter (if required)

- 4 quarts of SAE 20W-50 motor oil

- Oil drain pan

- Oil filter wrench

- Funnel

- Wrench

Step 2: Warm up the engine.

Run the engine for a few minutes to get it up to operating temperature. This will help the old oil to flow more easily.

Step 3: Drain the old oil.

Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug, which is located on the bottom of the engine. Loosen the plug with the wrench and allow the old oil to drain into the pan.

Step 4: Replace the oil filter (if required).

If you are replacing the oil filter, locate it near the top of the engine. Use the oil filter wrench to loosen the filter, then remove it and dispose of it. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new filter before screwing it on.

Step 5: Add new oil to the engine.

Use the funnel to add new oil to the engine through the oil fill port, which is located on the top of the engine. Add oil until the oil level is between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

Step 6: Check the oil level.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Then, check the oil level again using the dipstick. If the oil level is below the "full" mark, add more oil.

Step 7: Dispose of the old oil and filter.

Take the old oil and filter to a recycling center or your local auto parts store.
