- Replacement Speedometer Cable
- Socket Wrench Set

2. Locate Speedometer Cable:
- Park your motorcycle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
- The speedometer cable is located on the right side of the motorcycle near the front wheel.
3. Remove Instrument Cluster Cover:
- Locate the screws that hold the instrument cluster cover in place.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove these screws and take off the cover.
4. Disconnect Speedometer Cable:
- Follow the speedometer cable from the instrument cluster to where it connects to the transmission.
- Squeeze the retaining clip on the cable connector and pull it out to disconnect the cable.
5. Remove the Old Cable:
- Continue tracing the speedometer cable towards the front wheel.
- Look for the point where the cable is secured with a bracket.

- Remove the old cable by carefully pulling it out.
6. Install the New Cable:
- Insert the new speedometer cable through the bracket and feed it towards the transmission.
- Secure the cable by tightening the bolts on the bracket.
- Connect the cable to the transmission by pushing the connector into place and securing it with the retaining clip.
7. Reattach Instrument Cluster Cover:
- Place the instrument cluster cover back on the motorcycle and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
8. Test the Speedometer:
- Start the engine and check if the speedometer is working correctly.
- Test ride the motorcycle to ensure the speedometer provides accurate speed readings.
9. Clean Up:
- Clean up any tools and materials you used during the replacement process.
