Each pair of steel and fiber plates is referred to as a "clutch pack." The clutch plates should be installed in the order listed, with the steel pressure plate going on last.
When installing the clutch plates, it is important to make sure that they are properly aligned. The steel plates should be aligned with the slots in the outer clutch basket, and the fiber plates should be aligned with the tabs on the inner clutch hub.
It is also important to ensure that the clutch plates are flat and not warped. If any of the plates are warped, they should be replaced before proceeding with the installation.
Once the clutch plates have been installed, the clutch springs can be installed. The clutch springs should be installed in a crisscross pattern, and they should be tightened to the specified torque value.
After the clutch springs have been installed, the clutch cover can be installed. The clutch cover should be tightened to the specified torque value, and the clutch adjustment should be checked.
