2. Remove the air filter housing cover. There are four screws that hold the cover in place. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws, then lift the cover off of the housing.
3. Remove the old air filter. The old air filter is located inside the housing. It is a rectangular piece of foam or paper. Carefully remove the old air filter from the housing.
4. Inspect the air filter. Check the air filter for damage or dirt. If the air filter is damaged or dirty, it must be replaced.
5. Install the new air filter. Place the new air filter in the housing. Make sure that the filter is properly seated in the housing.
6. Replace the air filter housing cover. Replace the cover on the housing and tighten the screws.
