- New oil filter (check your owner's manual for the correct size)
- New oil (check your owner's manual for the correct type and amount)
- Oil drain pan
- Funnel
- Wrench
- Rags
Instructions:
1. Run your motorcycle for a few minutes to warm up the oil. This will help it to drain more easily.
2. Place the oil drain pan under the motorcycle.
3. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the motorcycle.
4. Use the wrench to loosen the oil drain plug.
5. Allow the oil to drain into the pan.
6. Once the oil has drained, replace the oil drain plug.
7. Locate the oil filter. It is usually near the top of the motorcycle.
8. Use the wrench to loosen the oil filter.
9. Remove the oil filter and discard it.
10. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
11. Screw on the new oil filter.
12. Use the funnel to add new oil to the motorcycle.
13. Check the oil level using the dipstick.
14. Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
15. Check for any leaks.
