1. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the following sequence:

1. Bolt 1

2. Bolt 2

3. Bolt 3

4. Bolt 4

2. Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 25 ft-lbs.

3. Recheck the cylinder head bolts after the engine has been run and allowed to cool down.

Note: Be sure to use a new cylinder head gasket when reinstalling the cylinder head.
