How do you find the VIN on a 1980 Kawasaki kz750?

1. Lift up the left side rear footrest.

2. You should see a horizontal silver bar behind the footrest with a number stamped on it. That is the VIN.

3. Alternatively, you can remove the left side cover of the bike to see the VIN from the side.
