1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down.
3. Locate the oil dipstick. It is a long, thin metal rod located on the right side of the engine, just below the cylinder head.
4. Pull the dipstick out of the engine and wipe it clean with a rag.
5. Insert the dipstick all the way back into the engine.
6. Pull the dipstick out again and check the oil level. The oil should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
7. If the oil level is low, add engine oil to the motorcycle. Use the recommended oil type and weight specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual.
8. Reinsert the dipstick and check the oil level again to make sure it is correct.
9. Replace the dipstick and start the engine. Let the engine run for a few minutes to circulate the oil.
10. Turn off the engine and check the oil level again to make sure it is still correct.
