1. Gather the necessary tools and materials:
- Flat-head screwdriver
- Adjustable wrench
- Pliers
- Hose or container to collect the fuel
2. Prepare your Foreman:
- Park the Foreman on a flat and level surface.
- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the fuel drain screw:
- The drain screw is usually located near the bottom of the fuel tank.
- It is typically made of metal and has a flat head.
4. Drain the fuel:
- Place a hose or container under the drain screw to catch the fuel.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver or adjustable wrench to turn the drain screw counterclockwise until it is fully open.
- Allow all the fuel to drain from the tank.
5. Close the drain screw:
- Once all the fuel has drained, use a wrench to turn the drain screw clockwise until it is snug.
6. Dispose of the fuel properly:
- Dispose of the fuel in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Never pour gasoline into a sink or drain, as it is flammable and can cause environmental harm.
Remember, if the ATV has been running or sitting in the sun, the fuel and/or metal components may be hot, so use appropriate caution when draining the gas.
