How do you put in a new ignition switch on 1973 Honda 125?

To replace the ignition switch on a 1973 Honda CB125, follow these steps:

1. Gather your tools and materials. You will need:

* A new ignition switch

* A 10mm socket and ratchet

* A flat-head screwdriver

* A Phillips-head screwdriver

* A wire cutter/stripper

* Electrical tape

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will prevent any electrical shock while you are working on the ignition switch.

3. Remove the old ignition switch. To do this, remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the switch in place. Then, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the switch out of the housing.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the old ignition switch. There are three electrical connectors that need to be disconnected. Use a wire cutter/stripper to cut the wires close to the old switch. Then, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the connectors off of the switch.

5. Install the new ignition switch. Insert the new switch into the housing and secure it with the two 10mm bolts. Then, reconnect the electrical connectors to the new switch.

6. Test the new ignition switch. Turn the key in the ignition switch and make sure that the engine starts and runs properly.

7. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

Your new ignition switch is now installed and ready to use.
