If there's a locking mechanism, make sure it is engaged to hold the pickup tube securely in place.
Step 6 - Test Fitting:
Before closing the gas tank lid, check the fitting by gently pulling the pickup tube. Ensure that it is securely connected to the fuel line.
Step 7 - Refill Fuel:
Once you've confirmed the pickup tube is installed properly, close the gas tank lid. You can then refill the fuel tank with the recommended fuel type and grade specified in your lawn mower's manual.
Step 8 - Check for Leaks:
Turn the fuel valve back on and start your lawn mower. Visually inspect the fuel line and the pickup tube connection for any leaks. If you notice any fuel dripping, tighten the connection if possible or replace the tube if needed.
