Oil Change Schedule
The Yamaha YBR 125 engine oil should be changed every 3,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.
Checking the Oil Level
1. Make sure the motorcycle is parked on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to settle.
3. Unscrew the oil level dipstick and wipe it clean.
4. Insert the dipstick back into the oil filler hole and screw it in.
5. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
Adding Oil
If the oil level is low, add enough oil to bring it up to the "full" mark on the dipstick.
