2: Place the oil pan under the oil filter. It should be located on the bottom of the engine, to the back next to the oil pan.
3: Loosen the oil filter using a wrench. Be careful not to spill any oil.
4: Remove the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise.
5: Clean the oil filter housing.
6: Apply a thin coat of motor oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
7: Screw the new oil filter onto the housing by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
8: Lower the vehicle.
9: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks.
10: Turn off the engine and check the oil level. Add more oil if necessary.
