How do you change the engine oil in a Yamaha bravo 250 sled?

To change the engine oil in a Yamaha Bravo 250 sled, you will need the following tools and materials:

- New oil filter (Yamaha part number 5GH-13440-00-00)

- New crush washer for the oil drain plug (Yamaha part number 90430-08027-00)

- Oil drain pan

- Funnel

- 24mm socket

- New engine oil (Yamaha recommends Yamalube 2-Stroke Synthetic Oil)

Here are the steps on how to change the engine oil:

1. Warm up the engine by riding the sled for a few minutes.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.

3. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug, which is located on the bottom of the engine.

4. Use the 24mm socket to loosen the oil drain plug.

5. Allow the old oil to drain completely.

6. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.

7. Remove the old oil filter by turning it counterclockwise.

8. Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

9. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine by hand until it is snug.

10. Do not overtighten the oil filter.

11. Add new engine oil to the sled. The Bravo 250 takes 1.1 liters of oil.

12. Use the funnel to add the oil slowly.

13. Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

14. Run the engine for a few minutes.

15. Verify that there is an oil drip below the engine oil line with 3 lines to confirm oil flow (this will typically take 2 mins to start dripping)

16. Turn off the engine and check the oil level again. If the oil level is low, add more oil as needed.
