2. Loosen the locknut. There is a locknut on the side of the torque coil. Use a wrench to loosen the locknut.
3. Turn the adjustment screw. There is an adjustment screw on the bottom of the torque coil. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the torque, or counterclockwise to decrease the torque.
4. Tighten the locknut. Once you have adjusted the torque to the desired setting, tighten the locknut.
5. Test the mower. Start the mower and test it to make sure that the torque is set correctly. The mower should cut evenly without bogging down.
