How to Change an Ignition Coil on a Kawasaki Mule

1. Park the Mule on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. This will help prevent any accidental electrical shocks.

3. Locate the ignition coil. It is usually mounted on the side of the engine block.

4. Remove the two bolts that hold the ignition coil in place. Be careful not to drop the bolts into the engine.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil.

6. Remove the ignition coil from the engine.

7. Inspect the ignition coil for any damage. If the coil is cracked or damaged, it will need to be replaced.

8. Install the new ignition coil. Reverse the steps above to install the new ignition coil.

9. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

10. Start the Mule and check for proper operation.
