How to remove the gas tank on a Honda vtx 1300?

To remove the gas tank on a Honda VTX 1300, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the fuel line by pinching the fuel line release, then pulling the fuel line off of the fitting.

2. Disconnect the vent hose by using pliers to pry the hose from its fitting.

3. Remove the two 10mm bolts holding the front of the tank to the frame.

4. Remove the two 12mm bolts holding the rear of the tank to the seat support bracket.

5. Carefully lift the tank up and off the bike, being careful not to spill any fuel.

6. To reinstall the tank, simply reverse the steps above.
